A Community Commitment to Honor, Remembrance, and Legacy
Norfolk Freedom Point Memorial
The Norfolk Freedom Point Memorial is a a community driven project dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served – and continue to serve – the United States of America. More than a monument, Freedom Point is envisioned as a place of reflection, education, and unity, designed to stand as a lasting reminder of the sacrifices made in defense of our freedoms.
Commemorative Brick Program
These engraved bricks allow individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and civic groups to leave a lasting mark while directly supporting the memorial’s construction and maintenance.
The construction and long-term preservation of the Norfolk Freedom Point Memorial is made possible entirely through community support, donations, and fundraising efforts. this is not a project built by a single organization or individual – it is a shared endeavor that reflects the values and gratitude of the entire Norfolk Community.
Each brick becomes part of the memorial’s foundation – both literally and symbolically – representing a personal connection to the values of service and remembrance.
A primary fundraising component of this effort is the sale of commemorative brick pavers, which will be permanently installed within the memorial grounds. These engraved bricks allow individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and civic groups to leave a lasting mark while directly supporting the memorial’s construction and maintenance.
